Store History
The Premier choix agricole store was established in 1996, on the Réseau Encan Québec site in Saint-Hyacinthe. The company's goal is to meet the needs of a clientele with diverse productions, whether cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, or horses. The qualified and courteous staff offers quality livestock products. In March 2002, the Canadian Co-operative Wool Growers Limited acquired the store, thus promoting the sheep sector and the wool market in Quebec. Since then, the cooperative has opened a wool depot in Saint-Hyacinthe to offer breeders local storage space. This now allows producers to sell their wool to the cooperative without having to transport it to Ontario.
